The Venus Viva has a gold and glamorous launch in Bangkok, Thailand.
Over 60 senior dermatologists and aesthetic clinic owners, joined by select members of the media, gathered at the St. Regis Hotel for the May 11th launch of the Venus Viva, the latest technological innovation from Venus Concept.
The guest of honour, world-renowned dermatologist Dr. Michael Gold, was joined by the ‘father’ of laser dermatology in Asia, Professor Niwat Polnikorn, and the esteemed Dr. Wichai Hongcharu, of Harvard Medical School, who both shared their unique experience with the device.
OK Magazine exclusively covered the event, interviewing the speakers and some of the celebrities who dropped by to learn about this latest beauty treatment, in a market where skincare is a top priority.
Besides the exciting recent news around Venus Viva, guests were very interested in discussing the challenges of treating Asian skin types. The panel of experts was able to share their own patients’ remarkable results through before and after photos, with a live demonstration performed.
Dr. Gold best described the event, in an interview for OK magazine:
“It was a great experience to attend such a glamorous and well organized event in Bangkok. I attend many events every year and rarely have I seen such an exciting program and so comprehensive planning while taking care of every little detail necessary to make it such a successful event. The only other event I remember attending, which can be compared with this event, took place on the Great Wall of China! I was very excited to see so many familiar faces among the guests, senior doctors and leading physicians that I have worked with in the past conducting advanced clinical research, and I am looking forward to having them join the growing community of Venus Viva users around the world. It was both educational and inspiring to watch the presentations by Prof. Niwat and Dr. Wichai, who presented their findings of preliminary research with the Venus Viva. Those presentations have demonstrated again the variety and versatility of this device in the hands of expert Dermatologists allowing us to explore new boundaries for treatments that can really challenge old treatment indications, which we had difficulties to treat before. I think the message that I have sent throughout my presentation, and was confirmed by my distinguished colleagues, is that having a device that can efficiently and effectively treat scars, can definitely change people’s lives … The Venus Viva is indeed such a device.”
We are thrilled with the reception of the Venus Viva in Thailand and continue to build awareness for Venus Treatments throughout Asia.
