SpectruMed welcomed eager doctors with a preconvention event, a laser forum featuring distinguished speakers who are experts in using energy-based devices. The preconvention was held at Manila Hotel last October 9, 2019.
The preconvention Laser Forum was organized to provide attendees with a much more intimate forum, inviting some of the most prominent dermatologists and doctors in the industry. What’s more exciting about this forum is that some of our esteemed speakers demonstrated live treatments using EnerJet 2.0 and the combination of Tixel 2 and RegenLab PRP.
SpectruMed invited Dr. Marlon B. Ulit and Dr. Marie Diane Chan to be masters of the ceremony. The laser forum precedes the official PAPSHPI 15th Annual Convention, which will run for two days.
Early Start for Knowledge Sharing
Doctors gradually filled up Centennial Hall as they continue to arrive and register for the preconvention laser forum and upcoming PAPSHPI 15th Annual Convention. The event officially started with an invocation followed by the introduction of the first speaker, Dr. Jaimee Vistan-Tisbe of Primorosa Aesthetic Center. She talked about the benefits of using advanced machines for skin lightening treatments. Some of her most popular treatments include AngelWhite Laser, DeoLase, and Panda Eye Lightening.
The talk was followed by an educating presentation about tightening treatment for the periorbital area using fractional skin resurfacing and PRP by Dr. Sarah De Los Reyes. She also conducted a live demo treatment using Tixel 2, a powerful skin resurfacing device. During the live treatment, Dr. Sarah De Los Reyes also used RegenLab PRP after Tixel 2 procedure. The combination of these two treatments can deliver maximum results for tightening and lifting.
After a short 15-minute break, the last doctor for the first series of laser forum talk, Dr. Beverly Ong-Amoranto, went on stage to discuss the benefits of using EnerJet’s needle-less system for various treatments including skin remodeling and removal of scars.
Dr. Ong-Amoranto also provided a live demo of treatment for kinetic facelift on a mature patient. During the live demo, she answered some questions from our attendees.
After Dr. Ong-Amoranto’s live demo, all speakers were invited to go on stage for the Q&A session. Our esteemed guests took turns answering questions from our attendees. The first series of talks was done and they were given a certificate of recognition.
More Experts Sharing Their Expertise On Laser Treatments
Doctors regained the energy to absorb more information from our speakers after a fulfilling lunch. Dr. Frederick P. Mendiola jumpstarted the afternoon session with a very compelling talk about the enhanced benefits of combining PRP with energy-based devices for erectile dysfunction. Attending doctors were eager to learn more about the applications of energy-based devices for male concerns.
After Dr. Mendiola’s talk, it was Dr. Lucy Castro-Fores’ turn to share her knowledge about the most effective way of treating redness of skin. Dr. Castro-Fores provided in-depth information about her practice as she uses the most efficient Pulse Dye Laser, Vbeam, Prima. She was also able to provide before and after photos of great improvements when she used Vbeam Prima.
The last speaker for the Laser Forum, Dr. Maria Suzanne Datuin-De Leon talked about the world’s first and only 755nm pico laser, PicoSure. Dr. Datuin-De Leon used PicoSure for various kinds of treatments and accordingly achieved greater results compared to using other energy-based devices. She also showed the amazing results of using PicoSure with before and after photos of treatments.
Once again, the three renowned speakers were invited on stage for a panel discussion led by Dr. Ulit and Dr. Chan. Doctors took this chance to get answers from the experts. After the panel discussion, they were awarded a certificate of recognition.
Sweet Surprise from SpectruMed Family
SpectruMed requested Dr. Grace Lopez, PAPSHPI Chairman to award the certificate of recognition to our speakers. After the awarding of certificates, it was time to show our appreciation to Dr. Grace Lopez. Speakers and PAPSHPI officers were requested to come on stage as the crowd sung a birthday song. A cake was brought out as well. The laser forum successfully ended with a closing speech from Dr. Grace Lopez.
