Also called eczema, atopic dermatitis is a skin condition characterized by extremely itchy and red patches of skin. It is common in children but can also affect adults of any age. Exciplex® UVB phototherapy using the 308 nm monochromatic excimer light provides greater intensity of UVB to target affected areas while sparing the surrounding skin.
